DEVELOPMENT: Porsche had long earmarked turbocharged engines for their flagship models, but as a result of increased external pressures and a need to modernize its performance benchmarks, the flat-six was turbocharged across the entire Carrera lineup for the 991.2 generation. This allowed the 911 to continue its quest for class-leading performance while being mindful of efficiency all the same. But losing that flat-six wail felt like losing the character of the car, even if on paper it was better than ever. We set out to recapture the signature thrill of a 911 sports car and maximize its new potential, but do so in a way it can be lived with every day.
For 991.2 models equipped with factory Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE), drivers were afforded comfortable cruising along with a stimulating valves-open character that matched the performance potential with the press of a button. But without that option, the choices were limited. A PSE retrofit would be expensive with a long lead time and require some modification to fit, or drivers would have to accept the exhaust as-is. We aimed for an alternative that was more than just an improvement in sound over that factory system.
As a complete solution, our new Valved Exhaust Package pairs high-flow Sport Catalytic Converters with an x-pipe, and a secondary flow path through an x-pipe muffler that provides a significant reduction in exterior volume and cabin presence. The critical balance between an aggressive character with valves open and a reasonable presence with valves closed was achieved to our satisfaction, as the free-flowing Sport Cats amplified that delta beyond what an x-pipe alone would deliver. As a result, the sound quality and performance gains from this package can’t be matched by factory PSE on its own.
The valved rear section creates a smooth, high-pitched sound with the valves open or closed, and the result is more akin to Porsche’s signature flat-six tone and is unrivaled by Porsche’s own PSE system since the latter is effectively straight through with no blending of the exhaust with valves open. But closing the valves is a significant reduction in presence inside and out, and by replacing the bulky factory cats it left us room to implement the anti-drone technology that we’ve constantly developed over the years.
Seeing as our motto is “Sound Better, Go Faster,” we weren’t going to limit our focus to half of that equation. Opening up the flow from the turbocharged engine through large-diameter tubing and high-flow cats delivers a bump of about 20 horsepower and torque overall, something that is realistically noticeable to the driver. As a result, we’ve elevated the experience no matter how you enjoy it.
EXHAUST TIPS: The exhaust can be fitted with our SOUL tips finished in polished or black chrome. Base model cars can reuse OEM tips, however S-model non-PSE cars will require new tips. Additionally, fitment is guaranteed to the stock vehicle, not needing bumper modification to fit the factory PSE outlets.
CONSTRUCTION: Each exhaust is hand made out of mandrel bent, thick wall .065″ T304L stainless steel, rigorously quality checked in-house. Back purged TIG welding ensures proper weld penetration and longevity.
BOLT ON AND GO: Each product is tested in a fixture to ensure perfect fitment then foam packed to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.

We build our products to the highest standard and make every effort to deliver a flawless product to you. Should any complications arise, our no-hassle fitment guarantee assures that any obstacles with installation will be addressed and resolved as quickly as possible. The overwhelming majority of claims we resolve are related to an issue with the installation process, condition of the vehicle, or other aftermarket modifications. SOUL will assess your unique situation and quickly work to determine the cause and expedite a solution.
- You must contact SOUL BEFORE modifying / removing components to allow us to address and accurately diagnose the situation as-is
- Fitment complications must be caused by SOUL product(s) and SOUL product(s) alone
- SOUL will promptly send out a replacement exhaust component OR issue an immediate refund once product is returned and inspected

CATALYTIC CONVERTERS have a three (3) year warranty and are covered except when used with leaded race fuel or any type of fuel additive. Such non-manufacturer specified fuels will damage any catalytic converter and warranty is voided when these fuels and additives are used. Damage clearly evident from “burble” tunes not sold by SOUL Performance Products OR from track use are subject to discretion for coverage.
- SOUL Performance Products will repair or replace the catalytic converters once (1) during the 3 year period, or give the option to exchange for a catless equivalent product if available.
Sound is not covered under any warranty. We will do our best to meet expectations but sound is subjective. There are ways to adjust sound level and we will work with you to find the right one for you.
SOUL Performance LLC under this warranty, in any event, will not be liable for loss of use, inconvenience, consequential or resultative damage. Our sole obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or replacement of our product.
Secondhand Components: Product warranty applies to the original purchaser on record, for the original vehicle on which the product was installed. Secondhand owners can have any possible parts repaired at cost or have the option of a reduced-cost replacement of the same or similar product (requires sending in original component).
COATINGS
- Coatings on exhaust tips are covered for one year from defects. Physical damage or any damage incurred from customer negligence voids any warranty claims.
- Jet-Hot ceramic coatings are covered for life under Jet-Hot’s Lifetime Warranty.
THIRD PARTY PRODUCTS
All products we retail from other sources shall a.) have the warranty provided by the manufacturer or distributor and b.) follow their return policy.

Should you wish to return your order, PLEASE CONTACT AutoAmateur so we can expedite the process and prevent confusion. Contact us to receive an RMA number, which needs to be marked clearly on the package so that we can process your return.

NEW IN BOX: If for any reason you change your mind regarding your SOUL purchase, components that are new in box can be shipped back to us at the buyer’s expense within 30 days of original shipment, and a restocking fee may apply. For customers opting to receive a refund in the form of store credit, additional fees will be waived.
- Components that have been customized, such as tips with custom logos, will be subject to additional restocking fees in order to refinish them for resale.
OPEN BOX: If we are unable to resell the item as new, up to a 50% fee will be applied depending on the labor / parts necessary to sell the item as new OR to cover loss as selling as used – the details of which will be explained in full for clarification. An example of this is installation marks, dings, dents, scratches, and any modifications made. Sending photos is always recommended to prevent surprises.
PURCHASES FROM SOUL DEALERS: SOUL does not accept returns or provide refunds direct to the end customer of dealers, you must contact the business you purchased the product from and proceed through their return policy.
